Bike touring - Mountain passes and panoramas, together with an automobile traffic that is much lighter than in other places, make Abruzzi a playground for those passionate about bike touring and they will find something to satisfy their appetite throughout the year.The ramps of Campo Imperator and of the little Maxilla offer, to those who are ready, satisfaction analogous to those of the mountain passes of the Dolomites.

- The excavated roads, the carriage and tractor trails that travel up and
down all over the hills of Abruzzi offer very charming itineraries for those
passionate about mountain-biking. In the summer the routes most enchanting are
those of the mountains, in particular Roccacaramanico--Paso S. Leonardo,
Roccacaramanico--Salle, The National Park of Abruzzo, Sirente-Velino and the
plateau of Campo Imperatore. In other seasons, the hilly landscape offers the
best chances for pleasant itineraries.
